PDR guidance and support for all staff

25 Jun 2025

As we approach the Performance and Development Review (PDR) period, we would like to encourage you think about your PDR in a way that is designed to support your growth, recognise your achievements and provide you with meaningful feedback to help guide your development.

The results of our recent Your Voice Matters survey show that only 47% of respondents feel their career aspirations are being met here and only 55% have regular conversations about their personal and professional development.

So we’re sharing these resources to support all colleagues as one of the first actions arising from the survey

Preparing for your PDR conversation: key considerations

We would encourage everyone to approach their performance review conversations with openness, curiosity and a growth mindset.

Why have a PDR?

A PDR is an opportunity for a two-way conversation where managers and team members engage in meaningful discussions, reflecting on successes, exploring lessons learnt and forward thinking about future goals and your career pathway.

To find out more, you can book onto one of our sessions to find out more about the importance of PDRs.
